Term 3 2018

Welcome back everyone! Term 3 is always a powerful term for learning. Students and teachers know each other well and classroom routines and expectations are now embedded. Students are comfortable with their learning space so the likelihood of deep learning is maximised.  Making sure your child is at school every day is the first and foremost contribution parents make.

Athletics Carnival is on Monday 30^th July at the Crest Sports Centre Bass Hill.

Open Day is on Wednesday 8^th August.

PHPS Public Speaking Finals - K-4 Monday 13^th August; Yrs 5 & 6 Wednesday 15^th August.

School tour

Lindy Bryant, principal, will conduct a tour of Padstow Heights Public School on Wednesday 25^th July at 4:00pm. Lindy will explain the learning programs and the extra- curricular opportunities the school provides. Please come to the front office and sign in before the tour.

Open day

Our school will be open for parents, families and the community on Wednesday 8^th August with activities commencing at 9:30. The day incorporates a Scholastic Book Fair, a book character parade, choir and band performances. From 11:00am Kindergarten to year 2 classrooms are open and Years 3 to 6 will dazzle you with the science workshops. More details of Open Day and the schedule are available on the events page.
